Nicole DeLoach Hubbard is a thoughtful, strategic and constructive leader committed to equitable treatment and mutual respect. A powerful advocate for important issues, such as human trafficking and improving the foster care system, Nicole has played a key role in all aspects of her local League, the Junior League of Tampa. She has served in a variety of leadership roles with the most recent on the Executive Board as President, President-Elect, Fund Development Vice President, Community Vice President, and Membership Vice President. A visionary and change agent, Nicole has made significant contributions to all aspects of the Junior League of Tampa in areas of Membership, Community, Advocacy and most notably Fund Development where she initiated a new corporate fundraising strategy that has resulted in a tenfold increase in corporate fundraising in just a short time.
In January 2017, Nicole worked closely with AJLI on its Winter Leadership Conference hosted in Tampa, organizing a lunch panel program entitled Tackling Tough Issues with Community Collaboration: A Step-by-Step Guide to Enacting Change. She spearheaded a community-wide human trafficking training program with national speaker and survivor Becca Stevens, as well as initiated a collaboration between the City of Tampa Arts Department, Tampa Police Department and human trafficking survivors and service providers to create the first human trafficking awareness mural in downtown Tampa that has gained national attention.
Nicole brings her Junior League skills and experience into all of her nonprofit work. She has worked with a variety of nonprofit organizations such as Tampa Museum of Art CITY, Make a Wish Foundation, Glazer Children’s Museum and Tampa Bay Buccaneers Youth Squad Leadership Council. She is a founding board member of The Heart Gallery of Tampa and recently was appointed to the Hillsborough County Commission on the Status of Women.
As a highly respected community advocate and medical professional, Nicole has received a number of awards including Tampa General Hospital CRNA of the Year, The Heart Gallery of Tampa Advocate of the Year and The Junior League of Tampa Inspiring Leader.
Nicole is currently Chief Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist at TEAMHealth in Tampa, the largest anesthesia practice on the west coast of Florida. There she manages nurse anesthesia services in collaboration with the department of surgery at a Level 1 Trauma and Transplant center, analyzing and evaluating activities to ensure quality of care. Nicole also is a member of the TEAMHealth National Advanced Practice Council as the voice for Advanced Practice Clinicians nationwide.
Nicole graduated Magna Cum Laude from Florida State University and Summa Cum Laude from Barry University with a Master of Science in Anesthesiology.
